Chinese President announces support for Saudi Arabia’s Expo 2030

Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, Saudi King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud received a written message from President Xi Jinping, President of the People’s Republic of China, regarding the solid bilateral relations that bind the two friendly countries and peoples, and ways to support and enhance them in various fields and at all levels.

The President of the People’s Republic of China expressed his country’s support for the Kingdom’s request to host the Expo 2030 in Riyadh.

The message was received on behalf of Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Deputy Foreign Minister, Engineer Walid bin Abdul Karim Al-Khuraji, when he received at the Ministry’s headquarters today, the Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to the Kingdom, Chen Weiqing.

During the reception, they discussed bilateral relations between the two friendly countries, and ways of enhancing them in various fields, in addition to exchanging views on issues of common interest.
