Chinese Consul General in Jeddah Commends Saudi Arabia for Successful Hajj 2024

The Chinese Consul General in Jeddah Wang Qimin has praised Saudi Arabia’s efforts as well as the preventive and security measures adopted to secure pilgrims and provide them with seamless services during Hajj 2024, reported the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).

Qimin expressed his sincere gratitude to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and his Crown Prince Mohamad bin Salman for ensuring a successful Hajj season by providing extraordinary infrastructure, security and health services for the pilgrims.

In a statement to SPA, Qimin indicated that 10,000 Chinese pilgrims performed their rituals with ease and comfort, underscoring the high-quality services they received from the moment they arrived in the Kingdom.

Qimin highlighted the unwavering support of the China Islamic Association and its role in assisting pilgrims during their spiritual journey in Saudi Arabia. The association has been serving the pilgrims and organizing their journeys to Mecca and Madinah since 1955.

Furthermore, Qimin underscored that Chinese pilgrims have witnessed the Kingdom’s outstanding advancements in efficiently serving the pilgrims throughout 69 years.

“For the past 69 years, multiple generations of Chinese pilgrims have personally witnessed the Kingdom’s remarkable advancements in serving pilgrims, including significant improvements in infrastructure, health services, transportation systems, and logistics services,” Qimin said.
