Buraidah is included in the UNESCO Creative Cities for Culinary Art

In the field of culinary art, the city of Buraidah in the Qassim region was able to secure a spot in the UNESCO Network of Creative Cities.

Prince Badr Al Saud, Saudi’s Minister of Culture, revealed on his official Twitter account that UNESCO has named Buraidah as one of the world’s most innovative cities.

It is noteworthy that the organization’s statement was announced yesterday on the occasion of World Cities Day

Creative cultural fields

The UNESCO Creative Cities Network includes 295 cities from 90 countries, representing a wide range of cultural and creative areas.

Buraidah, the Emirate’s capital in Al-Qassim, is known for its natural diversity and as a popular tourist destination.

It is one of the largest agricultural areas in the Kingdom, with 20% of the Kingdom’s total agricultural area.
