Saudi Arabia’s Supreme Court announced Thursday the timings for standing at Mount Arafat and Eid al-Adha, according to the sighting of the crescent moon.
The court said that tomorrow, Friday 7/6/2024, is the first day of Dhu al-Hijjah.
The Standing at Arafat will be on Saturday 15/6/2024.
According to the court, Sunday 16/6/2024 is the first day of Eid al-Adha.
The court, on Wednesday, called on those who are capable of observing the crescent moon, whether with the naked eye or through binoculars to approach the nearest court and provide their testimony.
Muslim countries usually follow Saudi Arabia’s sighting of the crescent moon as the Kingdom is the only country that determines the time for Standing at Arafat, the greatest ritual of Hajj.
