HRH Prince Bandar Bin Khalid Al-Faisal, chairman of the Equestrian Authority and the Horse Racing Club will patronize the conclusion of the second edition of the Saudi Arabia’s International Championship for the Purebred Arabian Horse Beauty (Kahila) on 29 May.
The Kingdom’s International Championship for Purebred Arabian Horses “Kahila”, which was held for the second year in a row under the supervision of the King Abdul Aziz Arabian Horse Center (KAAHC) during the period from May 25-29, 2022 in Riyadh.
The Director General of the King Abdulaziz Center for Purebred Arabian Horses, Mr. Abdulaziz Al-Moqbel, extended his sincere thanks and appreciation to His Highness, the Chairman of the Equestrian Authority, for the great and unlimited support provided by His Highness to horse championships of all kinds, including his honoring and sponsorship of the conclusion of the Kahilah International Championship.
He also expressed grattitude for HRH Prince Bandar Bin Khalid Al-Faisal for his financial support for horses of Saudi origin with SAR 2 million riyals to the winners, he also valued the constant attention and follow-up from His Excellency the Minister of Environment, Water and Agriculture, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the King Abdulaziz Center for Purebred Arabian Horses, which contributed to the development of these championships.
Al-Moqbel also indicated that the championship this year witnessed the participation of more than 511 purebred Arabian horses from different countries of the world as the largest number recorded in the number of horses participating in the international championships in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
He praised the efforts made by Organizing Committee to ensure the success of the tournament and its continuity in the coming years.
The Director General of King Abdulaziz Center for Arabian Horses added that the final day will witness the crowning of the winners of the participating categories’ championships. These are the foals championships, mares championships, foals championships, horse championships of Saudi origin and origin, and stallions championship, honoring the participants, sponsors of the championship, arbitration and discipline committees.
