Arresting a Saudi Citizen who Assaulted a Security in The French Embassy in Saudi Arabia
Police of Makkah arrested a Saudi citizen who assaulted security in the French embassy in Saudi Arabia. The Special Force for Diplomatic Security arrested a citizen after attacking a security guard at the French Consulate in Jeddah with a sharp object, resulting in minor injuries.
The media spokesman for the Makkah Region Police, Muhammad Al-Ghamdi, stated that the perpetrator is in the fourth decade of life and has been arrested and legal measures have been taken against him.
He indicated that the injured person was taken to the hospital to receive the necessary treatment.
Meanwhile, most of the Islamic world asks for boycotting French products because of the offensive graphics to the Messenger, Mohammad, peace be upon him. Islamic society refuses to prejudice the Islamic symbols, especially the prophet.
On the other hand, many Saudi people are refusing such behavior, admitting that this is not representing the teachings of the Islamic religion. the Islamic religion is prohibiting to attack civilian people even if they are from another religion.
In the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the French embassy issued a statement warning its citizens and asking them to take the highest degree of caution. The embassy confirmed that France, however, putting its trust in the Saudi government.
