These days, the Saudis are celebrating the seventh anniversary of Prince Mohammed bin Salman’s pledge of allegiance to the mandate of the Covenant in Saudi Arabia (Ramadan 26, 1438 AH – June 21, 2017). The country has witnessed rapid transformations that are aimed at “building the state of the future,” within “ Vision 2030” whose godfather is Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.
The Crown Prince expressed his feelings towards the Saudi people a few months after assuming his new royal position, saying: “I am one of 20 million people. I am nothing without them, and I am the least and weakest example of them all. They are the ones who motivate me and they are the ones who push me forward… ».
The Crown Prince remarks recall the saying of his grandfather, King Abdul Aziz: “I am strong in God, then in my faith, then in my people…, and I walk with them as one individual. I do not prefer myself over them, nor do I follow in their rule except what is good for them…”
Since its founding three centuries ago, the Saudi state has been distinguished by the originality of its political system. It is not an imported, copied, or imposed system by other powers. In addition, it did not come out of nowhere, or arise in a context other than its environment. Rather, it stemmed from historical roots, Islamic depth, heritage, and a pure Arab environment.
Achievements of Prince Mohammed bin Salman
Mohammed bin Salman has many achievements that have led the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia forward since his appointment as Crown Prince. He has established programs and projects aimed at developing the Kingdom at the local and global levels, not to mention striving to protect the country from extremists.
“Kingdom’s Vision 2030” project
The Kingdom’s Vision 2030, launched on April 25, 2016, by Prince Mohammed bin Salman, was a project built on distinct foundations. It aims to implement structural reforms to move the Kingdom out of its oil-dependent economy, and open Saudi Arabia to diverse sources of income and multiple types of investments.
Saudi Arabia is offering health services that serve pilgrims, Umrah pilgrims, and tourists from all over the world. The Kingdom continues the preservation of the archaeological sites which are being included in the UNESCO World Heritage List. In addition, it established the Public Investment Fund (PIF) which keeps increasing the contribution of small and emerging companies to the general domestic product.

Prince Mohammed bin Salman had an important vision that sought to increase investments in the Kingdom by establishing a huge fund; its mission was to develop huge projects to play a pivotal role in stimulating the Kingdom’s economy.
Among the projects included in this fund are: “Amala”, “NEOM“, the Red Sea, and Qiddiya, which will become an important destination for the whole world.
Women in Saudi Arabia
Because women are part of Saudi society, Prince Mohammed bin Salman sought to empower them. As a result, his role became active in distinguishing them, pushing them forward, raising their status, and making them have equal rights and duties with all members of Saudi society in accordance with the teachings of Islam.
As a culmination of the goals of Vision 2030, women were allowed to drive cars in June 2018, which solved many of their problems and challenges. His Highness played a role in improving the work environment for women which increased their job opportunities.
Projects, achievements that were, still are
Among the Crown Prince’s achievements are the establishment of projects like NEOM, The Line, Qiddiya project, Red Sea Project, Prince Mohammed bin Salman non-profit city, Oxagon City and Aramco going public.
The Saudi Crown Prince received 366,403 votes, 69.3% of the 530,399 cast in the poll that RT Arabic began on December 15 and continued until the end of January 7. It was a joy for everyone, even though it was not the first time. The vote proved the excellence of the inspiration of the era.
Saudi Arabia is moving its policies towards implementing Vision 2030, and all its interests are directed towards achieving this goal to make the Kingdom the financial, economic and tourism center of the Arabs.
Anyone currently contemplating sees that Saudi Arabia has become a global center of attraction in the region which makes Saudis proud of it and its leadership. The country seeks to achieve development, security and safety locally and internationally.
The last seven years have witnessed astonishing developments by all standards, not only in terms of the tremendous political, economic and social achievement, but in terms of the ingenious arrangements of the ruling house.
