Bocelli is one of the most popular artists in the world, with more than 75 million records sold worldwide.
He is scheduled to perform on January 27, his fifth visit to the historic city.
Fans who are not lucky enough to get tickets for the concert, whose tickets are already sold out, will be able to watch the show live and for free via the AlUla Moments YouTube channel.
This is an opportunity for visitors worldwide to see the man who many consider a once-in-a-generation talent.
The esteemed Italian artist is known for bringing classical music to a modern audience, doing so so well that his name has appeared on the international pop charts.
Bocelli co-starred with Celine Dion in 1998 on the song “The Prayer”, which appeared in the animated film Quest for Camelot and was nominated for an Academy Award.
A year later, he was nominated for Best New Artist at the Grammy Awards.
During his previous visit to the Kingdom in April 2021, Bocelli gave an impressive performance that will be immortalized in the minds of fans forever.
The ceremony took place at the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Stone, and the maestro shared the stage with his son Mateo and his 9-year-old daughter Virginia, and they sang the song “Hallelujah”.
Bocelli said performing in such a location was an extraordinary moment for the family and all the musicians on stage.
He added, “To be here and contribute to making a historic moment in such an inspiring place so rich in human history, heritage and culture is truly an unforgettable moment.”
The musician will be back at the newly reopened Maraya Ballroom, after performing there in 2018.
A hall is a unique place located in Wadi Ashar. It is registered in the Guinness Book of Records as the world’s largest reflective building with 9,740 reflective panels.
Since all tickets are sold out, and to reach all Maestro Bocelli fans around the world, the concert will be broadcast live on MBC1 TV, AlUla Moments, and MBC1 YouTube channels.
