Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), Jasem Albudaiwi, stated that Saudi Arabia’s hosting of US-Russia talks in Riyadh stands as a testament to its pioneering role and prestigious status on the international stage.
In his official message to the Saudi Foreign Minister, the Secretary General noted that Riyadh talks reflect the Kingdom’s unwavering dedication to boosting global stability through dialogue and diplomacy.
He also expressed sincere gratitude and appreciation for the Kingdom’s important efforts in the talks.
In this context, he commended Saudi Arabia’s central role in promoting international peace and security under the wise leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz, and his Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.
“This blessed step is a continuation of the wise and balanced political approach that the Kingdom has consistently adopted,” Albudaiwi added.
Moreover, this approach aligns with the core principles of the GCC countries and their commitment to bridging perspectives and resolving crises through dialogue and understanding.
At the end of his message, Albudaiwi wished Saudi Arabia continuous security, stability, prosperity, as well as success in its noble efforts to ensure peace in the whole world.
