Al-Faisal briefed on the arrangements for the meeting of Russia and the Islamic world

His Royal Highness Prince Khalid Al-Faisal, Advisor to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, Governor of Makkah Al-Mukarramah Region, received at the Emirate’s headquarters in Jeddah on Tuesday, Fahd Abu Al-Nasr, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for Public Diplomacy.

His Highness listened to an explanation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ preparations to host the meeting of the Strategic Vision Group “Russia and the Islamic World” under the slogan (Dialogue and Prospects for Cooperation), which will be hosted by the city of Jeddah on Wednesday the 19th of this month corresponding to 24 November.

The meeting comes within the framework of the Kingdom’s initiative for dialogue between followers of religions and cultures, as it is hosting the meeting for the second time after hosting its fourth session in Jeddah in 2008.

The meeting was attended by the Secretary-General of the Organizing Committee of the meeting, Ambassador Sultan Al-Sultan, and members of the committee.
