A woman wins membership in Saudi Commerce Chamber’s Board Directors

Agharid Ihsan Abdel-Gawad, a Saudi entrepreneur, was recently elected to the Eastern Province Chamber of Commerce’s Board of Directors.

Agarid is the first woman to be elected to the Asharqia Chamber in Saudi Arabia.

In this regard, she told Al Arabiya.net that the story of her election occurred after a long-held dream of joining the Chamber of Commerce.

She also stated that she grew up in the Chamber of Commerce’s corridors while her father was nominated.

Agharid stated that joining the Eastern Province Chamber of Commerce was a dream come true for her, and she was eager to work hard to attain it.

Agarid also stated that she presented during the extension time and received support from her father, mother, brother, and relatives, all of whom put in a lot of work to help her win.

She stated that she will work to transmit the voices of the voters she spoke with during the election campaign and that she is confident in her ability to do so.
