Saudi Arabia Recalls 2,239 Honda Accord Hybrids Over Safety Flaw

Saudi Arabia’s Commerce Ministry has recalled 2,239 Honda Accord Hybrid cars in the Kingdom due to a programming flaw in the integrated control unit, according to the Saudi Gazette.

The flaw poses a serious safety hazard, with the potential to cut power mid‑operation and heighten the risk of accidents.

The ministry urged owners to check their vehicle’s VIN against the recall list and then schedule a free repair at an authorized Honda service center.

Owners can contact the designated recall center, using the details provided in the Ministry’s announcement.

The ministry will also monitor the recall closely to make sure every affected vehicle gets repaired.

Since the ministry has not set a deadline for completing the repairs, owners should keep checking for updates from both Honda and the ministry.
