Qiddiya Investment Company has announced in a press release today a strategic partnership with Deloitte and Google to establish a Cloud Centre of Excellence (CCoE), marking a new step in its digital transformation journey. The initiative will be delivered through a Build-Operate-Transfer (BOT) model with the goal of accelerating Qiddiya’s adoption of next-generation cloud technologies.
The CCoE will serve as the hub for designing and deploying Qiddiya’s cloud infrastructure and tools, while building internal capabilities and fostering cross-functional collaboration. It will also introduce a tailored cloud governance framework to ensure security, resilience, and cost-efficiency, supporting Qiddiya’s long-term ambition to become a global destination built for play.
Chief Technology Officer at Qiddiya Abdulrahman Alali said: “The Cloud Centre of Excellence will help us lay a strong digital foundation, empowering our teams to deliver bold, future-ready experiences to the world.”
CEO of Deloitte Consulting Middle East Rashid Bashir added: “Together with Google, we’re helping to build the digital infrastructure that will power Qiddiya’s next chapter.”
