Saudi Arabia Achieves Guinness World Record for CTF Competition at Black Hat MEA

Saudi Arabia has secured a Guinness World Record by hosting the largest-ever Capture The Flag (CTF) cybersecurity competition at the Black Hat Middle East and Africa (MEA) event.
The competition challenged participants to tackle simulated cybersecurity scenarios within a virtual environment, covering risk-based tasks, attack-and-defense setups, and hybrid challenges. These scenarios mirrored real-world threats, providing a dynamic platform for skill development.

Participants widely praised the event for its hands-on training opportunities and its role in fostering practical expertise. As one of the marquee events at Black Hat MEA, the CTF allowed ethical hackers to showcase their skills while sharpening their abilities to defend systems and data.
This record-breaking initiative aligns with Saudi Vision 2030, emphasizing the Kingdom’s commitment to becoming a global leader in cybersecurity innovation and resilience.
