With a wild vision to capture more international tourists, “Go Türkiye” represents an enticing invitation to unearth Turkey’s rich cultural heritage, diverse natural landscapes, and strategic geographical location.
The new campaign unlocks new potentials in Turkish tourism sector with an ambitious goal to welcome 60 million international tourists this year.
This goal came after the sector’s remarkable success in 2023 as the country already received 59 million tourists from all over the world.
Prestigious Launch Ceremony

Riyadh was honored to host the launch ceremony of the initiative in the heart of Narcissus Hotel, marking Turkey’s warm welcome to Saudi tourists.
The launch ceremony saw the convergence of the Turkish Ambassador to Saudi Arabia Prof. Dr. Emrullah İşler, and the Cultural and Tourism Advisor of the Embassy in the Kingdom, Metin Mutanoglu.
The event offered a valuable platform for numerous representatives of tourism and travel companies in both countries and travel enthusiasts to share visions and insights.
Saudi-Turkish Ties

The Saudi-Turkish relations have been blossoming and witnessing untapped avenues of cooperation.
As a living proof, Turkey received 800,000 Saudi tourists by the end of 2023, with aspiring wishes to welcome more tourists in the coming years.
During the ceremony, the Turkish Ambassador noted that 16,000 Saudi citizens own real estate in Turkey, stressing Saudis’ tendency to enjoy the northern regions of Turkey and the Black Sea.
“We share a common history and civilization with Saudi Arabia,” İşler added.
In the same context, the Ambassador expressed sincere gratitude and appreciation to the Kingdom for facilitating the process of obtaining visas for Turkish citizens, making it easy for Hajj pilgrims and Umrah performers to have smooth journeys to the Kingdom.
Saudi Remarkable Progress

The Ambassador seized the opportunity and delved deeply into Saudi Arabia’s unparalleled growth over 45 years.
He commended Riyadh’s revolutionary transformation into a green city and a global tourist center.
İşler also added that he has witnessed Diriyah’s unprecedented transformation into a prestigious hub for international events and other cultural activities.
Consequently, the Ambassador lauded the ambitious and achievable blueprint of Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.
He stated that since the launch of Saudi Vision 2030, the Kingdom has taken steady steps to fully implement promising programs and goals in several sectors, including the tourism sector.

Metin Mutanoglu, the Cultural and Tourism Advisor of the Turkish Tourism Agency in Saudi Arabia, emphasized that Saudi tourists are well acquainted with the most prominent tourist destinations in Turkey.
Interestingly, “Go Türkiye,” is dared to thrive and launch new major destinations, beyond Istanbul, as the country boasts a wealth of historical and cultural sites and iconic landmarks.

The Türkiye Tourism Promotion and Development Agency (TGA) unveiled new plans to draw attention to regions such as Cappadocia, the beaches of Antalya, and the ancient ruins of Ephesus.
For example, the ceremony marked the launch of ‘turkeegean,’ an amazing tourist attraction promising its visitors extraordinary experiences.
