Saudi Minister of Islamic Affairs Meets Egyptian Minister of Endowments

Saudi Arabia’s Minister of Islamic Affairs, Dawah, and Guidance Sheikh Dr. Abdullatif bin Abdulaziz Al Al-Sheikh met today in Cairo with the Egyptian Minister of Endowments, Dr. Osama Al-Azhari, reported the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).

The meeting marked the beginning of Al-Sheikh’s visit to Egypt to lead Kingdom’s delegation at the 35th International Conference of the Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs.

During the meeting, both Al-Sheikh and Al-Azhari reviewed the Saudi-Egyptian cooperation to boost the Islamic work.

In the same context, Al-Azhari expressed his sincere appreciation to the Kingdom for its participation in the conference commending its pivotal and pioneering role in strengthening Islamic affairs all over the world.

Under the auspicious of the Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, the conference will take place August 25–26 with the presence of over 100 participants, including ministers, muftis, and representatives of Islamic organizations from more than 60 countries.
