Theater Commission to Reveal Details of Gulf Theater Festival in Press Conference
As part of the Gulf Theater Festival, the Theater and Performing Arts Commission will hold a press conference on Tuesday to unveil further details about the 14th edition of the festival, reported the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).
The commission has recently announced that it will host the 14th edition of the Gulf Theater Festival in Riyadh from September 10 to 17.
Under the auspicious of Minister of Culture and Chairman of the Commission Prince Badr bin Abdullah bin Farhan, the event will be a perfect platform and a cultural theatrical gathering of artists and creators from the Gulf Cooperation Council countries, hosted by the Kingdom for the first time.
The eight-day festival will boast several theatrical performances by artists from different GCC countries and a variety of cultural and artistic events.
With a bold vision to exchange experiences, share knowledge, and boost intellectual dialogue to advance the theatrical movement among GCC countries, the festival will offer Gulf theatrical performances, seminars and workshops.
The event represents a valuable opportunity for Gulf theatre artists to showcase their new works by presenting one theatrical show for each country.
The commission will reveal more details about the festival, including events, activities, initiatives, and goals within the context of artistic cooperation in the Gulf region and the exchange of expertise among the participating Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries.
