Saudi Arabia Prepares Cars, Ambulance Aircrafts to Serve Pilgrims

The Ministry of Health announced the availability of 729 cars and 7 ambulance aircraft to serve pilgrims, reported Ajel.SA.

The Ministry wrote on its official account on X that there are 6,515 beds, 27 urgent care, and 18 pharmacies available to serve pilgrims during the Hajj season.

Moreover, it announced that there are 189 hospitals, health centers, mobile clinics, and 98 ambulance centers. In addition, there are 14 health control centers at the ports, 12 laboratories, and 32 mobile supply trucks.

It pointed out that there are 34,523 medical, administrative, and technical staff, 349 foot teams, and 5,466 volunteers to serve the pilgrims.

The Saudi Ministry of Health announced that pilgrims can get instant virtual medical consultation services during Hajj 2024, reported the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).

Represented by SEHA Virtual Hospital, the ministry explained that the virtual medical consultations are available 24/7 and can be accessed through the following platforms:

  • “Sehhaty” Application
  • “X” Platform
  • Calls via the unified number 937

The ministry has designed the virtual services to provide the pilgrims with the necessary medical assistance at any time and any locations to ensure the safety and health of pilgrims while performing their rituals.

Medical consultations are available in six languages: Arabic, English, French, Turkish, Farsi, and Urdu.
