The Ukrainian President, Volodymyr Zelensky, and his accompanying delegation arrived Wednesday in Jeddah on a visit to Saudi Arabia, reported the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).
Upon arrival at King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah, the Deputy Governor of Makkah Region Prince Saud bin Mishaal bin Abdulaziz; and Minister of State and Member of the Cabinet (accompanying minister) Dr. Musaed bin Mohammed Al-Aiban received the Ukrainian President.
The Saudi Ambassador to Ukraine Mohammed Al-Jibreen; Ambassador of Ukraine to Saudi Arabia Anatolii Petrenko; and several other officials also welcomed the Ukrainian President at the airport.
This weekend, about 90 countries and organizations will attend the Ukraine peace conference hosted by Switzerland to outline a path towards peace.
