Saudi Transport Authority approves the uniforms for taxi drivers
Saudi Arabia’s Public Transport Authority affiliated to the Ministry of Transport has announced uniforms for public fare, airport fare, special fare, and passenger transport application drivers.
This will be applied on July 12, 2022, as a condition for performing these operations in compliance with the terms of the regulations controlling the fare broker’s, fare broker’s, and direction’s activities.
Following the custom uniform will help the authority’s development efforts to improve the quality of services in transportation operations in general, and fare and guidance in particular, according to the authority.
This will help to improve the overall appearance and favourable perception of these crucial services, as well as their direct relationship to all segments of society.
The Transport Authority said that this is part of a series of stages of periodic and continual upgrading and enhancement on taxi transportation and passenger transport applications’ activities and services.
The Authority stated that it is always eager to serve the beneficiaries and keep up with their expectations, as well as to aim for the highest quality and satisfaction rates for the recipients of transportation services in Saudi Arabia.
