Saudi Arabia closes Sukuk offering with SAR 14.95 billion in May
Saudi Arabia’s National Debt Management Center said that it had received all investor requests for the local issue of Sukuk for the month of May 2022.
This is part of the government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s Sukuk programme in Saudi riyals, with a total issue size of SAR 14.953 billion.
The issues were divided into three tranches, according to the center’s announcement,
the first totaling to SAR 10,055 billion for Sukuk maturing in 2032 and the second amounting to SAR 10,055 billion for Sukuk maturing in 2033 .
The second tranche was for SAR 2.184 billion and was for Sukuk due in 2037 AD.
The third tranche, for sukuk maturing in 2049 AD, was SAR 2.715 billion.
Last April, the issuance was split into two tranches, totaling around SAR 9.982 billion. For Sukuk maturing in 2032, the first volume was SAR 6.402 billion.
The second tranche, worth SAR 3.580 billion, is for Sukuk that will mature in 2037.
