
Saudi Arabia’s Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources, Bandar Alkhorayef, met with France’s Interministerial Delegate for Strategic Minerals and Metals Supplies, Benjamin Gallezot, to explore ways to deepen cooperation in the mining and minerals sector.
Both officials highlighted the strong ties between their countries and discussed potential collaboration in areas such as mineral exploration, mining investments, and developing local mineral industries. They also examined how advanced technologies and innovative approaches could boost efficiency and sustainability, while emphasizing the importance of integrated value chains for strategic minerals.

The meeting took place during the Critical Minerals Forum, hosted by the OECD, which brought together government representatives, industry leaders, and international organizations to address key challenges and opportunities in global critical minerals supply chains.
