GAIN Unveils 4th Edition Vision in Barcelona Ahead of Riyadh Summit

The Global AI Summit (GAIN) presented its fourth-edition strategy during its participation in MWC Barcelona 2026, one of the world’s largest and most influential technology gatherings. The conference opened today in Barcelona and runs through March 5, serving as a prelude to GAIN’s upcoming edition in Riyadh from September 15 to 17.

Held under the patronage of Mohammed bin Salman, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Saudi Data and AI Authority (SDAIA), the summit is organized by SDAIA in partnership with HUMAIN.

Through a dedicated pavilion at the exhibition accompanying MWC Barcelona, GAIN showcased its forward-looking vision for advancing data and artificial intelligence to a global audience of tens of thousands. The summit emphasized its commitment to strengthening international collaboration, forging strategic partnerships, accelerating innovation, and promoting the responsible adoption of advanced technologies. It also highlighted Saudi Arabia’s leadership in developing policies that enable data- and AI-driven transformation on a global scale.

GAIN’s presence at MWC Barcelona marks a strategic move to further elevate the Kingdom’s profile across major international digital technology platforms.

Additionally, the annual conference convenes technology leaders, investors, policymakers, and industry experts from around the world. Their participation also underscored Saudi Arabia’s growing capacity to host world-class technology events, with GAIN emerging as a flagship gathering that attracts leading global tech companies.
