Meanwhile, the third theme will discuss ways to improve capacity and growth across the sector through harnessing initiatives and cutting-edge digital technologies.
Saudi Arabia’s Achievements
The Global Logistics Forum 2024 will spotlight the Kingdom’s milestones in the logistics sector. Saudi Arabia has managed to rise by 17 places in the Logistics Performance Index and has also made significant progress towards achieving the goals of the National Transport and Logistics Strategy.
Furthermore, the Forum will present the master plan for logistics centers, that the Saudi Crown Prince, Mohammed bin Salman, announced in mid-2023. This ambitious plan aims to construct logistics centers over a total area exceeding 100 million square meters throughout the Kingdom, to enhance infrastructure, diversify the economy and consolidate Saudi Arabia’s position as a global logistics hub.
Located at the crossroads of the world’s largest three continents, Riyadh is strategically positioned to provide a unique opportunity for participants to make a significant change in the future logistics trends, build relationships with global leaders, and explore opportunities for meaningful cooperation.
