Saudi Arabia and several prominent Arab and Muslim nations on Sunday fiercely condemned Israel’s repeated violations regarding the Gaza ceasefire, warning that persistent military breaches have already triggered a catastrophic loss of Palestinian lives across the besieged enclave.
In a joint statement coordinated by the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs, regional leaders expressed deep concern over the situation. Foreign ministers from Saudi Arabia, Jordan, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Indonesia, Pakistan, Egypt, and Turkey signed the urgent document.
According to the official communique, Israeli violations resulted in the killing and injuring of more than one thousand innocent Palestinians. Consequently, the ministers described the current atmosphere as a dangerous deterioration of both humanitarian and security standards in Gaza.
Threatening Global Peace Initiatives
“These actions risk escalating regional tensions and undermining efforts aimed at consolidating calm and restoring long-term stability,” the statement declared. Currently, international parties work collectively to advance the second phase of the peace plan while implementing UN Resolution 2803.
Furthermore, the foreign ministers collectively expressed alarm over the devastating impact of ceasefire breaches on the vulnerable civilian populations. They noted that these aggressive actions carry broader implications for the overall stability and safety of the entire Middle East.
The group emphasized their shared stance in rejecting any actions that undermine efforts to de-escalate tensions and protect civilians. In conclusion, the ministers reaffirmed their commitment to diplomatic solutions while demanding that Israel respect the established ceasefire terms immediately.
