The highly-anticipated Saudi-produced film, 7 DOGS, has made a historic achievement, breaking two Guinness World Records.
7 DOGS Breaking Records
The Chairman of the Saudi General Entertainment Authority (GEA), Turki Al Al-Sheikh, announced that 7 DOGS broke two Guinness World Records: the largest film stunt explosion and the most high explosives detonated in a single film, in a remarkable milestone that places the Kingdom on the global cinema map.

Al Al-Sheikh attributed the unprecedented achievement to the unwavering support of the Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister, Mohammed bin Salman, under the ambitious Saudi Vision 2030, a key driver of the Saudi cinema industry’s progress. He also thanked government and security agencies for their collaboration.
Giant Production
With this new achievement, the giant Saudi production has surpassed the previous record of 68.47 tons of TNT equivalent achieved by SPECTRE (2015), with 170.7 tons of TNT for 7 DOGS. Moreover, it has beaten the record of No Time to Die (2021) of 136.4 kg of TNT, with 405.85 kg of TNT for 7 DOGS.
The much-awaited film is directed by Adil El-Arabi and Bilall Fallah. It is based on a story written by Al Al-Sheikh and Mohamed El-Dabah. 7 DOGS is one of the largest productions in the history of the Arab cinema, with a budget of around $40 million.
