3rd Group of Guests of Custodian of Two Holy Mosques Program Visits Religious Sites
The third group of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Program for Umrah and Visitation has visited various historical and religious landmarks in Madinah, the Saudi Press Agency reported.
The current group consists of 250 male and female pilgrims from 18 African countries.
During their stay at Medinah, pilgrims visited Mount Uhud, the Martyrs’ Cemetery, as well as the Quba Mosque.
As part of the religious and cultural program, the group performed prayers at Quba Mosque where they knew more about the mosque’s facilities and the ongoing expansion and development projects under the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman’s expansion initiative.
It is worth noting that such projects are designed basically to foster the mosque’s capacity and offer seamless services for worshippers.
Organized by the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah, and Guidance, the program represents a significant part of a broader initiative aiming at hosting 1,000 male and female pilgrims from 66 countries.
