A group of 250 pilgrims from 14 European countries recently visited the International Fair and Museum of the Prophet’s Biography and Islamic Civilization in Madinah. The visit was part of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques’ Program for Umrah and Visit. It aims to bring 1,000 pilgrims from 66 countries to perform Umrah in Saudi Arabia, according to the Saudi Press Agency.
At the museum, the visitors explored interactive exhibits and multimedia presentations showcasing the life of Prophet Muhammad, significant historical events, Islamic culture, and efforts to preserve Islamic history and civilization. Designed to engage diverse audiences, the fair highlighted the richness of Islamic heritage.
The pilgrims expressed gratitude to Saudi Arabia’s leadership for facilitating their visits to the holy cities of Madinah and Makkah. They also praised the Kingdom’s efforts to promote Islam’s message of tolerance and foster appreciation for its historical and spiritual heritage.
In addition to the museum, the group toured other significant Islamic sites, including the Battle of Uhud location, Mount Al-Ramah, the Uhud Martyrs’ Cemetery, and Quba Mosque, where they performed prayers.
Their itinerary also included a visit to the King Fahd Glorious Qur’an Printing Complex, where they observed the various stages of Qur’an printing, preservation initiatives, and its translation into multiple languages.
Finally, representatives of the complex presented the pilgrims with copies of the Qur’an at the conclusion of their visit.
