10 Saudis in Indonesia catch Covid-19

The Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques in Indonesia, Issam Al-Thaqafi, revealed on Monday to Al Arabiya.net, that the embassy has so far detected 10 Saudi cases of Coronavirus, including two critical cases and two infected with the mutated virus, according to hospital reports.

He confirmed that only two cases are still critical, while 4 cases are under observation, and four cases were released between yesterday and today after they recovered.

Al-Thaqafi explained that the embassy dealt with their situation and addressed the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Saudi Arabia.

He added that these cases will be evacuated as soon as possible, possibly tomorrow or the day after tomorrow at the latest.

He added: “The embassy is following up on other hypnotic cases in almost daily contact, and their return will be arranged as soon as they are discharged from the hospital.”

He pointed out that there are about 200 citizens who will return to Saudi Arabia, and this was arranged through two flights on July 26 and August 1, in coordination between the embassy and Saudi Airlines in Jakarta.
