Zain signs a MOU with Cisco to promote the digital transformation process in KSA

Zain the leading provider of digital services, signed an MoU with Cisco to cooperate in developing the automation of communications networks and raising the quality of digital services.

 

Basically, Zain signed the MoU during its participation in the (MWC23), in Barcelona from February 27 to March 3.

 

Through this MoU, Zain and Cisco will jointly develop an automation blueprint.

 

This includes maintaining, monitoring, and optimizing the system’s performance using state-of-the-art technologies.

The MoW aims to enhance the digital transformation process in the Kingdom.

 

Additionally, the MoU aims to enable society to benefit from a smarter lifestyle using advanced technologies.

 

The Chief Technology Officer at Zain, Eng. Abdul Rahman Al-Mafdi, commented: “The expansion of the use of fifth-generation (5G) technologies, the significant increase in network-connected devices, and the increasing consumption of content services have led to increasing pressure on networks.

 

He added that our cooperation with Cisco would be an important step to accelerate the digital transformation journey.

 

Al-Mufadi added: “This MoU aligns with our strategy, which aims to provide integrated digital experiences .”

 

Accordingly, MoU will help enhance customer experiences across the Kingdom.

This will accelerate the achievement of the goals of Saudi Vision 2030.

 

Cisco Vice President in the Middle East, Adam McHale, said: “Cisco’s existing approach will help Zain to deliver services quickly.”

 

He added, “With this, Zain Saudi Arabia will be able to improve the quality of its services, and continue to provide a distinguished customer experience through broadband, through reliable and high-speed services.”
