
The net profit of Saudi Mobile Telecommunications Company “Zain Saudi Arabia” jumped to 150 million riyals in the third quarter, compared to 70 million riyals in the same quarter last year, an increase of 114%. This was announced today following the release of the preliminary consolidated financial results for the period ending on September 30, 2024 (9 months).

The operating profit reached 318 million riyals in the third quarter, compared to 319 million riyals in the same quarter of the previous year, a decrease of 0.3%.
As for the net profit in the current period, it amounted to 322 million riyals, compared to 1.3 billion riyals in the same period last year, a decline of 76%.
Earnings per share in the current period amounted to 0.17 riyals, compared to 0.08 riyals in the same period last year.

Zain Saudi Arabia reported a revenue increase of 58 million SAR in the third quarter of 2024, reflecting a growth rate of 2.3% compared to the same quarter of the previous year. This growth is attributed to an increase in revenue from the business sector, 5G services, wholesale sales, and additional growth in revenue from “Tamam Financing.”
