UK exempts Saudis from visas, starting from June 1

The UK has announced important improvements in the visa system for Saudi visitors and tourists wishing to visit it, starting next June.

The Saudi Embassy in the United Kingdom, for its part, praised the British authorities’ decision and wished the two friendly countries continued success and prosperity.

He went on to say that this move is a significant step toward strengthening bilateral relations in many areas and that it reflects the two friendly countries’ commitment to work together more closely.

An electronic visa waiver (EVW) can be obtained in place of a visa for a fee of 30 pounds, and you must apply for a period of 3 months to 48 hours before travel, according to the British government.

Three things are necessary to apply for an EVW exemption: a passport, a UK residence address, and flight details, including departure and arrival dates and times.

The EVW allows you to visit the UK for up to 6 months for tourism, work, study, or medical treatment.

If you visit for another reason, you should check if a visa is needed instead.

According to the website, an EVW visa must be issued to everyone willing to travel, including children.

After applying, the applicant will receive an email within 24 hours containing a link to download their EVW,

They must show their form when traveling to the UK, and it can be printed or shown on an electronic device, such as a phone or tablet.

It cautioned that the applicant must change the travel details on your EVW if they decide to change travel times
