UK cancels quarantine and “PCR” for the Saudis visitors
Two-dose vaccinated Saudis on (Monday) began traveling to the UK without having to undergo quarantine or present a PCR certificate upon arrival.
Britain has unveiled on 17 September steps designed to improve international travel via easing travel restrictions which will come into place on 4 October next.
It has dispensed with the requirements for costly Covid-19 examinations for travelers, who have been fully vaccinated,
Britain also abandoned its system of rating travel destinations. It added 8 countries to its list of safe countries.
The new decision means that Saudi travelers who are vaccinated with two doses can travel to Britain without having to undergo quarantine or present a PCR certificate upon arrival.
According to the new procedures, travel destinations will be categorized simply between high or low-risk destinations, instead of the red, yellow, and green color scheme.
