
Uber Technologies Inc. plans to deploy self-driving cars in Saudi Arabia later in 2025, Chief Executive Dara Khosrowshahi said on Tuesday, describing the move as a potential “game-changer” for transportation in one of the company’s fastest-growing markets.
Speaking at the Saudi-U.S. Investment Forum in Riyadh, Khosrowshahi praised the Kingdom’s “great ambition and momentum,” according to Saudi newspaper Asharq al-Awsat.
His remarks coincided with a visit by U.S. President Donald Trump to Saudi Arabia.
