UAE condemns Houthis for targeting Saudi Arabia

UAE called on the international community to take an immediate and decisive stance towards such actions that threaten energy supply lines globally.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation in the UAE said that it condemns and denounces what it described as “attempts of the Iranian-backed terrorist Houthi militia to target civilians in Khamis Mushait, in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, through a booby-trapped plane, which was intercepted by the coalition forces.”
The UAE Foreign Ministry continued: “These terrorist attacks by Houthi reflect its blatant defiance of the international community and its disregard for all international laws and norms.”
Abu Dhabi called on the international community to take an immediate and decisive position, the continued attacks representing a dangerous escalation and new evidence that Houthis is working to threaten the security and stability of the region.
The UAE stressed that it stands with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and supports measurements to protect its security and stability.
