The third Flower Festival commenced yesterday at the Saihat Park in the Qatif Governorate, reported Saudi Press Agency. The Eastern Province Municipality organized the festival as part of its initiatives to enhance the quality of life.
Moreover, the municipality aims to create an environment conducive to encourage the participation of residents and visitors in various activities, including cultural and recreational activities, aiming to make Qatif a distinguished tourist destination.
The Municipality clarified that the 10-day third Flower Festival compromises 6 distributed zones and 120 booths.
Additionally, it will showcase agricultural nurseries containing a variety of flowers, trees, and shrubs, worth more than 500,000 seasonal flowers over an area of 45,000 square meters.
Rich & Diversified Program
In addition, there are daily programs suitable for all community segments, including cultural and awareness competitions, and special events related to arts, crafts, children, and women, along with the presence of a variety of cafes and restaurants.
189 volunteers in various fields, such as statistics, protocol, media, marketing, and the provision of medical and first aid services are participating in the third Flower Festival.
Third Flower Festival Brings Down its Curtains
The festival brought down its curtains on January,27. Showcasing an array of unique flowers, the festival attracted 250 thousand visitors and tourists.
Strolling between the clusters of rainbow flowers, the visitors enjoyed the pleasant aroma of flowers lingering in the air.
The festival offered diverse and comprehensive activities that fitted all categories including art activities and workshops on planting flowers.
Green area stretched over an area of 45 thousand square meters, beautified with more than half million blooming, aromatic flowers and coruscating lights that highlighte the whole area.
Over 236 volunteers from various fields participated in organizing this event.

The “Keriz” rose, celebrated for its vibrant palette and remarkable durability, has carved out its niche in Tabuk’s floral industry. It claims a whopping 50% of the overall production. The intrinsic aesthetic and longevity of this variety have positioned the region on a competitive pedestal.
