The Private Sector is Restricted to Follow The Precautionary Procedures
The Ministry of Interior reaffirmed that private sector facilities adhere to precautionary measures and preventive measures for the emerging “Corona” pandemic in order to avoid exposure to closure.
The Ministry is re-warning about the financial fines that private sector establishments are exposed to in case of violating the procedures.
The ministry explained that the violating facility would be subjected to a fine of 10,000 riyals Saudi in case that those who are not committed to the instructions are admitted, disinfectants and sterilizers are not secured, workers and customers are not scanned at the entrance of malls and commercial centers, carts and shopping baskets are not prepared after each use, and facilities and surfaces are not cleaned, and kids’ places are not closed.
The ministry also noted that this penalty is doubled if the violation is repeated. The facility is closed for 3 months, indicating that the penalty will be expanded again if the violation is repeated for the third time. The facility will be closed for 6 months, and the official representative will be referred to the Public Prosecution.
