
The Saudi Polo Federation announced six teams for the 2025 Richard Mille Desert Polo Championship, scheduled for January 17-18 in AlUla. The teams include AlUla, Richard Mille, Dadan, Budget, Bentley, and Ikmah, marking the fourth edition of this world-class event
The championship will feature legendary polo player Adolfo Cambiaso, alongside his children Adolfo “Poroto” Cambiaso Jr. and Mia Cambiaso. Other top players like Nacho Figueras and Pablo Mac Donough will also compete. Saudi rider Prince Sultan bin Khaled Al-Faisal and Jordanian princes Abbas bin Ali and Hamza bin Abbas will add royal flair to the tournament.
The six teams will split into two groups: Group 1 includes AlUla, Dadan, and Ikmah, while Group 2 comprises Bentley, Budget, and Richard Mille. Matches will take place at the Al Fursan Equestrian Village, known as the Village of Knights.

The matches will be held at the Village of Knights, featuring a purpose-built desert arena set among AlUla’s extraordinary landscapes.
Chairman of the Saudi Polo Federation, Amr Zidan, emphasized the championship’s improvements, including entertainment and family-friendly activities. Visitors can enjoy live music, a Kids Zone, and interactive equestrian experiences.
Moreover, he confirmed the readiness of the Village of Knights to host the event, promising strong competition and highlighting the sport’s growing popularity in Saudi Arabia.
“This fourth edition of the championship has witnessed significant improvements, alongside accompanying events and entertainment activities for spectators,” Zidan said.
The Richard Mille AlUla Desert Polo is the world’s first modern polo tournament set in a desert environment. It blends Saudi Arabia’s rich cultural heritage with the elegance of modern polo, creating an unforgettable experience.
