SRSA, Tahaluf Partner to Launch Red Sea Yacht Show in 2027

The Saudi Red Sea Authority (SRSA) and Tahaluf Events Limited have signed a memorandum of understanding on the sidelines of the Monaco Yacht Show to support the launch of the Red Sea Yacht Show in 2027. Under the agreement, SRSA will serve as the event’s government sponsor.

The MoU was signed by Abdullah bin Ahmed Al-Harbi, SRSA’s Executive Vice President for Business Development and Marketing, and Abdulaziz bin Mohammed Al-Ghurair, Tahaluf’s Executive Vice President for Government Partnerships and Event Logistics.

The partnership seeks to showcase investment opportunities in yachting, marinas, and related services, while strengthening ties among yacht owners, service providers, and investors. It is also intended to enhance the Red Sea’s position as an attractive destination for tourism and investment.

The two sides will coordinate with relevant government and regulatory authorities to facilitate yacht participation in accordance with each entity’s responsibilities and applicable regulations. They will also explore establishing a unified point of contact to help participants fulfill regulatory and operational requirements.

The agreement provides for efforts to attract Saudi and international companies, support workshops and introductory meetings, and contribute to the development of the exhibition’s official content. Key topics will include industry regulations, marine environmental protection, and investment and operating opportunities in marinas and marine services.

Cooperation will also cover the promotion of marine experiences and routes connecting destinations, marinas, and tourist attractions, as well as marketing the exhibition through SRSA’s communication channels and those of its partners. The initiative is expected to support the growth of yachting tourism, strengthen its investment appeal, and increase its contribution to the coastal economy.
