The CEO of the Social Development Bank, Eng. Sultan bin Abdulaziz Al-Humaidi, launched today the fifth edition of the “Souq Al-Dar” event, which is being held in the Al-Ammariyah area in Diriyah, and will last for 4 days until September 29.
The “Souq Al-Dar” event, which brings together more than 300 productive families from various regions of the Kingdom, aims to provide a distinguished marketing platform for these families, thereby enhancing the bank’s efforts in achieving sustainable development and supporting the local economy. It offers a diverse range of products that reflect the craftsmanship and traditional Saudi skills.
Souq Al-Dar
Engineer Al-Humaidi stated that the fifth “Souq Al-Dar” event is a key step in supporting productive families and entrepreneurs, drawing from Saudi heritage to contribute to modern civilization. Additionally, he said that the market aligns with the bank’s efforts to promote sustainable development and support local production and industry through marketing platforms.
The Dar Market highlights the Kingdom’s cultural and artistic heritage by drawing inspiration for the market’s area names from cultural traditions, such as “Souq Boulevard,” “Al-Malfa,” “Al-Liwan,” “Tajseed,” “Barahat Al-Fan,” and “Al-Mallas.” It also offers interactive workshops on traditional crafts, supervised by local experts, in the “Irth” and “Al-Tar” areas, providing a diverse cultural and artistic experience.
