The STC group, an enabler of digital transformation, announced the signing of a strategic partnership agreement between its subsidiary, Sirar by STC, and the Saudi Arabia Railway (SAR).

SAR is the owner and operator of the railway networks in the Kingdom.

STC group will support this alliance that reflects the close cooperation between the two parties and represents a strategic step towards enhancing national expertise in the field of information technology security within the essential infrastructure sectors.

The agreement spans over three years. Sirar by STC is specialized in comprehensive cybersecurity services.

During this period it will provide advanced security solutions to protect the information technology systems of SAR’s railway network.

This aims to ensure the safety and security of the company’s travel and freight services across the Kingdom.

It also reflects a long-term commitment to support the network in the field of digital innovation, contributing to the smooth operation of the railway system in the Kingdom according to the highest international standards.

This agreement paves the way for further cooperation and partnership between the sectors. Thus, they will contribute to the achievement of national objectives in technical fields.
