Sheikh Saleh Al-Luhaidan, a member of the Council of Senior Scholars, passes away

Sheikh Saleh Muhammad Al-Luhaidan, a member of Saudi Arabia’s Council of Senior Scholars, died early today morning of sickness.

“We belong to God, and to Him, we shall return,” Sheikh Al-family Luhaidan’s remarked on the social media platform “Twitter.” On the loss of our sheikh and father, Saleh bin Muhammad Al-Luhaidan, may God give us condolences, as well as the condolences of the Islamic nation.”

Sheikh Al-Luhaidan was hospitalized after experiencing a health crisis a few weeks earlier.

His name was at the top of the trend at the moment, as a huge number of preachers and celebrities interacted with the news of the Sheikh’s illness on Twitter, with comments pleading for him to recover.

Al-Luhaidan has held a variety of posts in Saudi Arabia and is the author of numerous books.
