Saudia Group, Ministry of Investment Sign MoU to Support Investors in the Kingdom

The Saudia Group and the Ministry of Investment have signed a memorandum of understanding to provide exclusive benefits to support major investors in global and local companies, reported the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).

The Saudia Group’s Marketing Director, Khalid bin Abdul Qader Tash, and the Ministry of Investment’s Undersecretary for Integrated Investor Services, Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Aba Hussein, signed the new deal to boost the Kingdom’s sustainable economic development and competitiveness.

According to the MoU, Saudi will provide the following offers to the ministry’s investors:

  • Local and international investors will enjoy a wide range of exclusive benefits and the latest products provided by the Saudia Group.
  • Saudia Group will provide logistics and shipping services through Saudia Cargo.
  • The Group will also offer private aviation and personal assistance (concierge) services provided through Saudia Private Aviation Company.
  • Both parties will foster the bilateral cooperation in organizing the ministry’s events at the local and international levels.

Saudi Vision 2030

Tash stated that the newly signed deal will facilitate the investors’ movement to and from Saudi Arabia and their internal movement around the Kingdom’s cities.

He underscored the Saudia Group’s pivotal role to achieve the Kingdom’s ambitious goals by effectively implementing and expanding the cultural and tourism programs and activities and Hajj and Umrah programs and services.

Furthermore, the deal will accelerate the Saudi Vision 2030 by strengthening the Kingdom’s position as a logistics center linking three continents.

In the same context, Aba Hussein stated that the MoU stands as a testament to the ministry’s commitment to providing extraordinary services, getting rid of all obstacles facing investors, and providing an ideal environment for the growth of their businesses in the Kingdom.

Moreover, he indicated that the deal would provide innovative logistical solutions, organize economic and investment events at the global level, and other initiatives that would enhance the Kingdom’s position as a pioneering investment destination.

“The Ministry of Investment is fully aware of the significance of providing a smooth and comfortable travel experience for investors, including facilitating logistics services and providing integrated transportation solutions that meet their needs and aspirations,” Aba Hussein added.
