In the presence of some professionals, professors, and researchers in the field of cyber security, Saudi Arabia’s National Cyber Security Authority announced the organizing of the Women in Cyber Security Forum on Tuesday and Wednesday, corresponding to March 1-2, 2022 AD in Riyadh.
This forum is part of the authority’s efforts to empower women in the field of cyber security, as well as assist and encourage women to enter the industry by building skills, exchanging experiences, and enabling career and leadership opportunities.
Promote Women’s Participation
The event also intends to increase women’s engagement in cyber security by introducing accessible educational and training possibilities to qualify for a job in the field.
It also intends to support women’s professional and leadership growth, raise professional competence in this sector and shine a light on Saudi women’s achievements.
The event will also cover a variety of subjects, including the current state of women’s representation in cyber security and an assessment of initiatives to create national skills through education and training programs, as well as strategies to improve such efforts.
In addition, the event will cover issues such as offering specialized vocational training to gain skills, exchanging experiences, reviewing Saudi women’s accomplishments, and debating strategies to strengthen them and their leadership in cyber security.
It’s worth noting that the forum is part of the National cyber security Authority’s goal of developing competent national cyber cadres and increasing women’s participation in this field to meet the Kingdom’s vision of a safe and reliable Saudi cyberspace that allows for growth and prosperity.
