Saudi THC plans to acquire 15 brand-new ambulance helicopters by 2024
“THC” Helicopters Company, which is wholly owned by the PIF, intends to add 15 five-blade H145 helicopters to its fleet by 2024.
Last December, the company signed a contract with Airbus Helicopters to purchase 20 H145 helicopters and six ACH160 helicopters.
The company plans to deploy these helicopters throughout the Kingdom to provide air ambulance services for emergency cases.
The company received 5 of them, and the remaining 15 are expected to be completed by the end of 2024.
The company signed a contract to provide spare parts for this fleet around the clock to improve fleet maintenance and performance.
The H145 has a multi-use cabin, designed for emergency medical services, law enforcement duties, and passenger transport, including private and general aviation.
