Flynas celebrates its first direct flights between Jeddah and Marseille, France
Flynas, the Saudi air carrier and the leading low-cost airline in the Middle East, celebrated on Wednesday (November 9) the launch of the first direct flight between Jeddah and Marseille.
Marseille is the southern port of France and the second most populous city.
The inauguration was attended by representatives from the Air Connection Program, the French Consulate in Jeddah, King Abdulaziz Airport in Jeddah, and flynas employees.
The first flight, from King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah, departed on Wednesday at the beginning of the operation of the air route.
There will be two weekly flights to Marseille from Jeddah on Saturday and Wednesday.
A new airline route was launched between Jeddah and Marseille on Thursday. The signed agreement between flynas and the air link program will allow flynas to launch four new and direct destinations, including Marseille in Europe, among others.
The air connection program aims to establish new international routes that contribute to the growth of the aviation and tourism sector. It also aims to increase the number of direct international destinations to 250 destinations by 2030.
flynas aims to connect the world to the Kingdom and reach 165 local and international destinations.
A flynas board of directors approved a purchase order increase to 250 aircraft, making it the largest low-cost airline in the Middle East and North Africa.
