Saudi Team Secures First Place in Arab Math Olympiad

The Saudi national team has secured the first place at the fourth edition of the Arab Mathematics Olympiad 2024 in Qatar, according to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).

The team has won two gold and two silver medals in recognition for its promising success in the competition.

Youssef Bakheet from Yanbu and Muath Al-Qahtani from the Eastern Region secured two gold medals.

Meanwhile, Ahmed Al-Shehri from Riyadh and Ahmed Khalawi from Jeddah won two silver medals.

Crucially, this achievement crystalizes the efforts of the King Abdulaziz and His Companions Foundation for Giftedness and Creativity (Mawhiba) in collaboration with the Ministry of Education.

In securing these medals, Saudi Arabia’s total medal count in the Olympiad surges to 11 medals over three participations.
