Saudi Sawahl Al-Jazeera launches 1st women’s empowerment conference in Riyadh

The first Women Empowerment Conference will be launched in Riyadh, on Thursday, 24 March, under the generous patronage of HRH Princess Noura bint Muhammad Al Saud; wife of the Governor of Riyadh, and under the supervision of Sawahl Al- Jazeera Media Company, which witnesses the participation of a large number of successful female entrepreneurs in the Kingdom.

The Women Empowerment Conference is scheduled to include some influential dialogue sessions, with distinguished female entrepreneurs in the Kingdom, to shed light on everything related to the achievements of Saudi women, and the Kingdom’s efforts in support of women’s empowerment in various sectors and leadership and administrative positions.

It also presents inspiring success stories of many Saudi women who have achieved global achievements.

The Women Empowerment Conference aims to participate in educating and developing Saudi women, and raising awareness of their achievements, while presenting successful models of Saudi women in various fields, believing in their role in development plans.

Women Empowerment Conference Workshops

The Women Empowerment Conference organizes many different workshops, most notably:

The “Preserving the Leadership Identity of Women” workshop, presented by Dr. Amani Al Bakri; Director-General of Digital Excellence at the Ministry of Health.

“Sustainable Development in Women’s Economic Empowerment” workshop, presented by Dr. Awatef Al-Anzi; Assistant Director of Partnerships and Social Responsibility Units at the College of Education at Princess Nourah University.

The “Kingdom’s Efforts to Support Saudi Women” workshop, will be presented by Ms. Rehab Al-Rahimi; a Member of the Riyadh Bar Committee in the Saudi Bar Association.

The workshop “How do working women overcome work pressures?”, presented by Ms. Manal Al-Rashed, and Ms. Hessa Al-Qahtani.
