Saudi Ministry of Industry carries out 429 field visits to industrial facilities in July

In July, “429” field visits to industrial sites were made by the Saudi Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources, which was represented by the Compliance Department and the General Administration of Comprehensive Industrial Service Centers.

Among these visits were 128 visits to factories in the Riyadh region, 116 to the Makkah region, and 102 visits to factories in the Eastern Province.

The ministry stated that the field visits carried out during the past month also included 42 visits to factories in the Qassim region, 20 visits in the Asir region, 16 visits in the Medina region, and 3 visits in the Tabuk region.

It emphasized that her field visits continue regularly, to monitor the industrial establishments and ensure that the necessary standards and requirements are applied.

The ministry also follows up on the factories’ commitment to providing high-quality products in accordance with the approved standards and specifications,

Through these visits, the Ministry aims to stimulate local industries in all sectors, monitor the quality of the local product, and enhance cooperation with its partners in the sector.

It is noteworthy that the Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources requires any industrial facility to obtain a safety license issued by the Civil Defense and to provide them with safety means depending on the nature of the activity.

It ensures the availability of emergency exits, an extinguishing system, and the safe storage of raw materials and products.
