KSRelief sends Saudi aid worth $ 10 million to one million Ukrainian refugees
The General Supervisor of KSRelief, Dr. Abdullah bin Al-Rabiah, affirmed that Saudi Arabia’s support for refugees from Ukraine is an extension of its humanitarian efforts in various parts of the world.
Dr. Al-Rabiah said during the press conference at the headquarters of the Saudi Embassy in Poland: “Saudi Arabia, represented by KSRelief, has provided medical and housing assistance to refugees from Ukraine worth 10 million US dollars, targeting more than one million people.”
It showed Saudi Arabia’s keenness to support humanitarian efforts to help refugees and the needy anywhere.
He explained that during this visit, ways to enhance relief efforts and the Humanitarian Response Coordination Mechanism for the benefit of refugees will be discussed.
He said that KSRelief
is working with the UN and other international organizations to create an efficient system that guarantees a prompt response to humanitarian crises.
During the conference, Dr. Al-Rabiah reviewed the center’s humanitarian and relief projects, which amounted to more than 2,000 projects implemented in 85 countries around the world.
He pointed out that the projects cover various vital sectors such as food security, health, education, water, environmental sanitation, and other important sectors.
